Co-dependency is when your sense of worth becomes entirely wrapped up in someone else, their needs, feelings, and approval. While caring for others is beautiful, co-dependency crosses into unhealthy territory when you lose yourself completely, prioritising others to your own detriment and feeling responsible for their emotions and happiness.
