It's one of the very first questions most people ask, and honestly, it makes complete sense. You're considering investing your time, energy, money, and trust into something, and you want to know what you're signing up for. How many sessions will it take? How long before I actually feel different?

The good news is that rapid transformational therapy (RTT) is genuinely different from many traditional forms of therapy when it comes to the number of sessions needed. And the even better news? For most people, the answer is far fewer than you might expect.

Why RTT Works Differently

Traditional talking therapies, counselling, CBT, psychotherapy, can be incredibly valuable, but they often involve weekly sessions over many months, sometimes years. That's because they tend to work at the level of the conscious mind: unpicking thoughts, adjusting behaviours, building new habits layer by layer.

Rapid transformational therapy works differently. Rather than managing what's on the surface, RTT goes directly to the root, the subconscious beliefs formed earlier in life that are running the show today. When you understand where a pattern came from and why your mind adopted it at the time, it loses its power remarkably quickly. You're not just thinking differently; you're rewiring from the inside out.

This is why Marisa Peer, the founder of RTT, described the approach as 'rapid', because real, lasting change doesn't have to take forever.

So, How Many Rapid Transformational Therapy Sessions Are Typically Involved?

For most people, RTT involves between one and three sessions. That said, every person is different, and the right number for you depends on a few things:

The nature of the issue. Some challenges, a specific fear, a single deeply-held belief, can shift beautifully in one session. Others, like long-standing anxiety, complex grief, or patterns built over many years, may benefit from more depth across two or three sessions.

How long you've carried it. Something you've lived with since childhood tends to have more layers than something that developed more recently. RTT still gets there, it just may take a little longer to fully resolve.

How you engage with the process. Your personalised recording is a key part of the work. The more consistently you listen, the more deeply the new beliefs embed, and the faster you'll notice real change in your day-to-day life.

Why My One-Month RTT Program Is Structured the Way It Is

When I created my program, I thought carefully about what actually produces transformation, not just a good session, but a real, lasting shift that clients carry with them long after we've finished working together.

That's why my signature program is built around one month and two RTT sessions, with meaningful support in between.

The first session goes deep, we explore the roots of what's been holding you back, and your personalised recording begins to do its work immediately. The in-between time isn't empty; it's a crucial part of the process. You're listening, integrating, and beginning to notice shifts, while I'm available for questions, check-ins, and support if anything comes up for you.

Then your second session builds on everything that's already shifted. It's more targeted, more refined, and often the point where the real breakthroughs consolidate.

For the vast majority of my clients, one month is genuinely enough to experience massive change. That's not a sales line, it's what the results show, time and time again.

Of course, if you're working on something particularly complex or deep, we can absolutely discuss adjusting your program to include more support. That conversation happens naturally as we go, and there's never any pressure, just an honest look at what's serving you best.

What About the Recording?

One of the things that makes Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) so effective, and so different from a one-hour therapy session, is the personalised audio recording you receive after each session.

This isn't a generic relaxation track. It's created specifically for you, based on everything that came up in your session, using the exact language and imagery that your subconscious mind responds to. You listen to it daily for 21 days, allowing your brain to keep reinforcing the new neural pathways being built.

Think of the session as planting the seed, and the recording as the daily watering that helps it grow.

The Bottom Line Of RTT

If you've been in therapy for years without finding the breakthrough you're looking for, or if the idea of open-ended weekly sessions feels overwhelming, RTT might be exactly what you've been searching for.

Most people need between one and three sessions. My one-month program with two sessions has an incredibly high success rate for clients to leave feeling genuinely transformed, not just slightly better, but fundamentally different in the way they see themselves and the world.

And if you still have questions about whether it's right for you, the most important thing you can do is simply reach out. We'll have a real conversation, no pressure, no sales pitch, just clarity.

Ready to find out how RTT could work for you?

If you'd like to talk through what you're dealing with and what a program might look like for you, I'd love to hear from you. It starts with a simple conversation.

Thank you for reading this, I hope you have the most splendid day. 🤍
